Metadata Analytics Lab

The overarching goal of our lab is to leverage the big metadata from data repositories and trace data to investigate the structures and dynamics of collaboration networks. We analyze the impact of collaboration networks on scientific capacity, equity in global science production, and knowledge diffusion. Projects in the lab focus in three main areas: Cyberinfrastructure-Enabled Scientific Collaboration Practices, Metrics for the Social Good, and Community Data Archives.
